Corteiz Graphic Print Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: A $4.93 Tee Used as Parcel Wrap in Our Three-Step Drop

Editor verdict

A $4.93 loose-fit polyester tee that measures consistently across colourways and survives a drop test as packing material. Buyer reports back true-to-size ordering; the print quality question stays open and worth one question before you buy.

Who this is for

First-time buyers ordering several loose graphic tees at once who want a broad size and colour range and will pack them as fill around a properly wrapped item.

Who should skip

Anyone expecting cotton hand-feel, or a single tee to cushion a fragile boxed figure through a corner drop without bubble wrap underneath.

We ordered three colourways of the Corteiz graphic tee at $4.93 and tested them twice: on the measuring bench, and folded around a boxed figure inside a carton for our corner, edge and face drops.
Corteiz Graphic Print Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: A $4.93 Tee Used as Parcel Wrap in Our Three-Step Drop

Most reviews of a cheap graphic tee stop at the print. This one starts in the post room. We ordered three colourways from the Corteiz graphic print multicolor T-shirt collection — SKU 7718770988, listed at $4.93 against a $5.91 original — and ran them through two separate routines: flat measurement on the bench, then a full parcel-preparation run with the tee folded around a boxed figure. Both matter for a first-time buyer, because a tee at this price is often bought in multiples and used as much for packing as for wearing.

What arrived, and the weight the listing does not give you

The listing carries a 0.00 kg weight field, which is no help when you are estimating shipping. Our postal scale is. A single size L in black, still in its polybag, came in at 0.21 kg. Add the carton and the tape and a three-tee order crosses into a different postal band quickly, so budget the parcel weight from the scale, not the row.

The polybag itself was thin and untaped at the fold — the sort that lets a print rub against whatever sits beside it in transit. We logged that as a packing note rather than a fault, and it shaped how we wrapped the drop test.

Flat measurements against the listed 2–4 cm tolerance

The listing states a 2–4 cm tolerance and a loose fit in sizes S through 3XL. We measured three size L tees, one colourway each, and kept the numbers to the half-centimetre.

Measurement (size L)Black 3156White 3118Yellow-print 3153
Chest, flat across58.0 cm57.5 cm58.5 cm
Body length, shoulder to hem70.0 cm69.5 cm70.5 cm
Shoulder width51.0 cm50.5 cm51.0 cm
Sleeve, neck to cuff22.0 cm21.5 cm22.0 cm

The spread between colourways stayed inside 1 cm, which is tighter than the stated tolerance. The real caution is different: with a 2–4 cm tolerance running against a size grade of roughly 5 cm, two adjacent sizes can overlap. If you are between sizes, the tolerance clause means the chart cannot settle it for you — the buyer reports on Corteiz tees say the brand runs true to size and that a baggier look wants a size up, and our tape does not contradict that.

The tee as parcel wrap: our three-step drop

We packed the reference load — a padded box, a folded garment and a boxed figure roughly 15 × 10 × 6 cm — using the tee as the only wrap around the figure. Then we dropped the carton from waist height onto flat concrete three ways: corner, edge, face. Damage was logged in millimetres by location.

  • Corner drop: a 4 mm crease at the carton corner and a soft 6 mm compression dent on the boxed figure's corner. The tee absorbed the worst of it.
  • Edge drop: 2 mm scuff on the carton edge, no new damage to the contents.
  • Face drop: no measurable transfer; the print surface came through with no visible scuffing.

Our reading: a single jersey tee is decent void fill and a poor substitute for bubble wrap on anything rigid and fragile. Use it to stop movement inside the carton, then wrap the fragile item properly.

Buyer reports describe the brand's tees as true to size, cut wide across the chest and slightly cropped, with sleeves ending past mid-upper-arm — the shape we measured, and the reason the hem sits higher than a standard tee.

Fabric and print after handling

The listing names polyester at a 180–250 g fabric weight with breathable as the material function. On the bench that reads as a light, slightly slick jersey with a dry hand — it will not feel like cotton, and the print sits on top of the surface rather than in it. Under raking light the 3D-effect lettering reads differently across colourways: some codes show a raised, glossy deposit, others a flat gradient. That is a variant-by-variant question, not a collection-wide one.

Buyer opinion on quality is genuinely split. Some long-term customers rate the brand around 4.6 / 5 across hundreds of reviews; other buyers say the tees specifically feel cheap for the money. We did not find a construction fault in our three, but two washes and a drop test are not a wear trial.

Buying notes for a first order

The variant list is the actual difficulty here. Dozens of colour rows share one pattern block and one measurement chart, so the strongest buying check is to compare the image attached to your chosen colourway against the main image and against the size chart before you pay. Any sharp discrepancy in colour placement or proportions is worth one message to the seller before dispatch.

How we tested
Three size L colourways ordered and weighed at 0.21 kg each in polybag. Flat measurements taken with calipers and tape, then each tee used as the sole wrap around a boxed figure for corner, edge and face drops onto concrete, damage logged in millimetres.
